The show must go on: it's been the rallying cry of our beleaguered industry, the message emblazoned on Theatre Support Fund+'s T-shirts and mugs. On Saturday night, we saw that fighting spirit in person, as Janie Dee, co-producer and star of this concert version of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music, marched into a pitiless downpour and cried to the heavens, 'Don't you love farce?!'. As far as spine-tinglingly theatrical moments go, that one will be hard to top.
The Dionysos Theatrical Group Presents OEDIPUS TYRANNUS

The Dionysos Theatrical Group performed its premiere of Oedipus Tyrannus, directed by Dimitris Behrakis, at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Astoria, Queens this past Saturday February 29th. The production of Sophocles' timeless tragedy featured a wonderfully talented and diverse cast from all around the world who surely had a lasting effect on the audience. The performance was a special one-time event but with a potential full run in the April/May.

The biennial Australian Youth Dance Festival is delighted to announce a dynamic program of workshops, performances and panels for its 10th Festival taking place in Melbourne from 7 - 12 July. Over five exhilarating days young dancers from Ghana, Denmark, the UK, Scotland and India will work with their peers from across Australia in a program that places young dancers at the forefront as artistic collaborators, provocateurs and future leaders.

After 10 days and 121 feature films, the 2019 Sundance Film Festival's Awards Ceremony took place tonight, with host Marianna Palka emceeing and jurors presenting 28 prizes for feature filmmaking. Honorees, named in total below, represent new achievements in global independent storytelling. Bold, intimate, and humanizing stories prevailed across categories, with Grand Jury Prizes awarded to Clemency (U.S. Dramatic), One Child Nation (U.S. Documentary), Honeyland (World Cinema Documentary) and The Souvenir (World Cinema Dramatic).

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.
ABC Cancels TAKE TWO Starring Rachel Bilson

ABC has cancelled the crime dramedy “Take Two,” according to Variety. The show premiered in June and ran for 13 episodes during its first season. 'Take Two' starred Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian.
