Drury Lane Theatre Announces 2023-2024 Season Featuring GREASE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF & More


Drury Lane Theatre has announced its 2023/2024 season, which opens with Grease, followed by the riotous whodunit The 39 Steps. The season continues with Ring of Fire, featuring the music of Johnny Cash, the magical family-favorite Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and the celebrated classic Fiddler on the Roof.

Other Theatre continues its 4th season with the third revival of its holiday hit BARNEY THE ELF, a campy and irreverent musical comedy, written by Bryan Renaud with lyrics by Renaud and Emily Schmidt. After helming the 2016 production, Tommy Rivera-Vega returns to direct and choreograph, with music direction by Nik Kmiecik and arrangements by Jermaine Hill. Drury Lane Theatre continues its 2017-2018 season with 42nd Street, with music by Harry Warren, lyrics by Al Dubin, book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, and original Broadway direction and dances by Gower Champion. 42nd Street is based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and was originally produced on Broadway by David Merrick. This production is directed by Michael Heitzman with choreography by Jared Grimes. 42nd Street runs now through January 7, 2018 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The Other Theatre Company Announces Chicago Premiere of THREESOME


The Other Theatre Company (TOTC) announces the Chicago premiere of Threesome, written by Yussef El Guindi and direction by Jason Gerace, April 14 - May 21 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. Previews are Friday, April 14, Saturday, April 15, Thursday, April 20, Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 at 8 p.m. Opening day is Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m. The performance is 85 minutes with no intermission. The regular performance schedule, April 27 - May 21, is Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets for previews are $25 and for the regular run $30. Lincoln Ave. Previews are Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. Opening night is Thursday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Additional shows on Tuesday, Dec. 20 and 27, and Wednesday, Dec. 21. No shows on Dec. 24 and 25. Tickets for previews are $20 and for the regular run $25. Tickets are on sale now at theothertheatrecompany.com.

Comps-Eclipse's LISBON TRIVIATA Concludes McNally Season, Opening November 8


Eclipse Theatre Company, the only Midwest theatre company to feature oneplaywright in one season, concludes their 23rd anniversary, 2015 Terrence McNally season with The Lisbon Traviata, with Eclipse Ensemble Member and Goodman Theatre Artistic Associate Steve Scott directing.
