Formed in 2018 by Pete Greenway, drummer Keiron Melling and bassist Dave Spurr, formerly known as the last and longest serving line up of The Fall, Imperial Wax finally follow the release of their debut album ‘Gastwerk Saboteurs' in 2019 with their new and second album ‘Tranquilliser', to be released via Guesswork Records. 

The release comes on the heels of their reissue of their Colin Newman produced album “If I Die, I Die”, which came out in early 2023, and arrives via BMG on 3LP and 2CD, alongside a media and artbook, new sleeve notes, remastered audio, and brand-new remixes from the band's theatrical, award-winning frontman Gavin Friday, and Apparition.

When Irish-born Count Vaseline/The Mighty Stef songwriter Stef Murphy met Stiff Little Fingers guitar tech Jamie Mechan in Nashville, Tennessee, it began a musical partnership of the highest order. After cranking out a few tunes at Mechan's fledgling studio, 302 Sound, the duo started recruiting other musicians.

Breakthrough British band Sports Team confirms an extensive run of worldwide tour dates this fall. Kicking off on September 16 in Atlanta, the tour includes headlining performances at New York’s Mercury Lounge, Los Angeles’ The Echo, Chicago’s Schuba’s and DC’s Songbyrd.

Imperial Wax, the surviving members of the last and longest running edition of legendary Manchester post-punk band The Fall are set to release their debut album 'Gastwerk Saboteurs' on May 17, 2019 via Saustex Records. As the core of The Fall, drummer Keiron Melling, bassist Dave “The Eagle” Spurr and guitarist Pete Greenway served 11 years, recording six full-length studio albums and two EP's with Mark E Smith.
