Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) will present Having Come This Far By Faith at Central Baptist Church of NYC at 166 W. 92nd Street on February 25 at 3:00 p.m. in celebration of Black History Month. The performance is FREE to the community. Central Baptist Church of NYC is accessible via the 1, 2, 3, or B subway lines.

Anthony Misiano, in association with The Aviary and the wild project, presents the World Premiere of I SQUEEZED REALLY HARD. Directed by Jacob Titus (Spaceman by Leegrid Stevens), this one man comedy about one kid's tragedy runs through September 26th at the wild project.

In I SQUEEZED REALLY HARD., Anthony Misiano serves up a series of painfully funny, progressively more shocking true stories about his turbulent childhood and the modern broken home. A Dickensian journey as raw as it is intangibly universal, Misiano's fearless, high-energy storytelling takes us down an engrossing autobiographical road that makes us laugh at our darkest moments, and question what exactly we define as family. A bold, unapologetic comedy set in a simpler, more aggressive time known commonly as: The 90's.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater's WHAT for Kids! proudly presents The Tale of Ibis, written and directed by Jody O'Neil. Performances are Monday–Tuesday at 7 p.m., and Wednesday–Thursday at 4 p.m., July 5 through August 12 in the Larry Phillips Pavilion. Due to limited seating and safety measures, advance online ticket sales are strongly encouraged. 

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater announces the return to live theater with  its 2021 Summer Theater Season. Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater announces its 2020 Summer Theater Season, featuring five plays performed on the Julie Harris Stage. Performances start June 10 and run through October 18.

Barnstable Comedy Club is excited to announce the winners of its First Annual Playwright's Festival held last fall. A total of twelve plays were featured as readings, written by playwrights from throughout the New England region. From those plays, two have been selected to return to the theater for a workshop session this spring.

On Monday, September 16, 2019, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation announced the 2019 recipients at the annual Off-Off-Broadway IT Awards. For the past 15 years, the It Awards have celebrated the vibrant and creative indie theatre community under the dedicated leadership of Executive Directors Shay Gines and Nick Micozzi who are stepping down and at the ceremony introduced new leadership for the organization: Cat Parker, Artistic Director of Articulate Theatre Company; Ariel Estrada, Producing Artistic Director of Leviathan Lab Projects; and Jazmyn Arroyo, Co-Founding Artistic Director of Step 1 Theatre Project will join Akia Squiteri, Artistic Director of Rising Sun Performance Company as Directors of the organization.

Some of Central Pennsylvania's biggest theatre supporters and businesses will gather at the annual Gretna Theatre Gala, which will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at The Hotel Hershey. The event is celebrated as 'The Magic of Theatre', an elegant evening to support the growing artistic and educational efforts of America's Oldest Summer Theatre.

On Monday, July 29, 2019, The New York Innovative Theatre Awards, announced the 2019 nominees for the annual Off-Off-Broadway awards. The It Awards have celebrated the vibrant and creative theatre community for the past 15 years.  The official announcement took place at (Le) Poisson Rouge by six celebrated artists and producers from the community including: Jazmyn Arroyo, Jennifer Betite Yen, Iyvon Edebiri, Chris Ignacio, Ashley Rogers, and Erez Ziv.

PIE Story Theatre debuted in Central Park in the summer of 1991. Now after a multitude of successful companies in New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Los Angeles, it makes its Massachusetts premiere at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater and the Outer Cape beginning on July 7th at 3PM at the Larry Phillips Performance Pavilion. The program then tours the entire Outer Cape community with performances from Dennis to Provincetown at a variety of venues. All of the performances are free of charge. The current PIE Company is: Colby Bell, Alyssa Freeman, Terrence Rex Moos, Paige O'Connor and Aisling Sheahan.

This summer, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater expands its family programming to include free performances of P.I.E. (Projects In Education) Story Theatre. PIE can be seen at venues including the Orleans Elementary School, Salt Pond Amphitheater in Eastham, Wellfleet & Truro Libraries, Wellfleet Preservation Hall, Wellfleet Farmer's Market, Provincetown Family Week, and Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater.

After an unfortunate 'failure to launch' mishap, Loading Dock Theatre is thrilled to announce that Leegrid Steven's Spaceman has once again been cleared for take-off and will launch into the Off-Broadway stratosphere beginning February 2019. This exciting news comes after the originally scheduled debut was forced to close after only one preview when leading lady Erin Treadway suffered a substantial fall that left her with serious fractures to both arms and left wrist.

In the fall of 2017, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater cancelled its last show amidst its 33rd season with a daunting mortgage crisis at hand. It looked dire for the non-profit which built a state-of-the art theater on State Highway Route 6 in 2008. Rumors were swirling that the theater was closing its doors. But in August, at their Sock & Buskin Bash, new Executive Director Christopher Ostrom and new Board Chair Donna Ward "burned the mortgage" (in theatrical style they used flash paper to illustrate it), and officially announced that the darkest days were behind them. The turnaround has been bolstered by generous donors, the good spirit of community in Wellfleet and the Outer Cape, and a determined Board of Trustees.
