Jonathan Hollander and Battery Dance Festival will include five Denishawn dances on the Battery Dance Festival performance of August 17th.  The evening celebrates early modern dance and also includes works by Isadora Duncan and in the style of Loie Fuller.

Salem was originally hired in 2011 as the Company's Deputy Director for International Programs and has risen through the ranks, becoming COO and VP in 2016.

With four virtual programs from the 39th Annual Battery Dance Festival still available for viewing before reaching their expiration date, the interview will afford a behind-the-scenes look at the organization of one of the world's largest and first online dance festivals during the pandemic. During the Festival, 52 films were screened over the course of nine days, including 28 premieres from 19 countries.

Battery Dance announces $1 virtual classes, continuing the tradition of offering 'free' workshops as part of the Battery Dance Festival.
