Alley Theatre kicks off the holiday season with Houston's holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol. Artistic Director Rob Melrose's adaptation combines magic, music, and Dickens. The Tony Award-winning production features the Alley's Resident Acting Company and David Rainey as Ebenezer Scrooge. Experience the timeless tradition of Dickens' beloved tale with colorful costumes, lively dancing, and stunning sets.
Theatre Under The Stars will return to the Miller Outdoor Theatre stage for the first time since 2019 with a concert in July. The show, dubbed TUTS: A Celebration of Houston Stories and Songs is directed by Mitchell Greco, and will run July 11 – 15 features a cast of beloved Houston actors singing many songs from the shows TUTS has performed over the last 55 years.

The Alley Theatre has announced the cast of Alley’s holiday tradition, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This brand-new adaptation by Artistic Director Rob Melrose is now coming to life on stage under his direction. Performances of A Christmas Carol begin Friday, November 18 and run through Friday, December 30 in the Hubbard Theatre.
Stages' holiday season offers comic alternatives to traditional seasonal shows with three productions including the regional premiere of the irreverent yet heartwarming The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged), the world premiere of Panto Star Force, the latest in Stages' series of original Pantos for audiences of all ages, and the regional premiere of Who's Holiday!, an adult-themed How the Grinch Stole Christmas parody told entirely in Seussian rhyme. The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged) and Who's Holiday! will be offered in true repertory style, playing in the same theatre at different performance times. Who's Holiday! will also include late-night performances at 9:30pm on select dates.

John Forslund & Forslund Theatricals LLC, producers of the first NYC revival of the legendary musical Let My People Come: A Sexual Party Musical Revue, are announcing the extension of the sold-out, eight-week limited engagement hit on the Upper West Side! Previews began February 8 with the official opening on February 14. Performances will continue every Friday at 8pm at the new Underground Theatre, 955 West End Avenue at W. 107th and Broadway. Tickets are currently on sale for an open-ended run.
