Beck Center For The Arts' Board Of Directors Announces Changes And Additions


Beck Center for the Arts has announced the appointment of two new board members, and the transition of two current members of the board.

Broadway League's Charlotte St. Martin and Roundabout's Julia Levy Included in Mayor De Blasio's Arts, Culture & Entertainment Advisory Council


Today, Mayor Bill de Blasio appointed members to the following Sector Advisory Councils: Labor and Workforce; Large Business; Small Business; and Arts, Culture, and Entertainment. Sector Advisory Councils will inform the Administration's efforts to restart the economy and city life. The councils will serve as critical links to disseminate information about re-opening and provide guidance to shape the City's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Membership of the councils on Faith, Construction and Real Estate, Non-Profits and Social Services, Public Health and Healthcare, Education and Vocational Training, and Surface Transportation will be announced in the coming days.

11th Hour Closes Season with Next Step Concert Series Performance of BROADCAST


11th Hour Theatre Company's 12th season comes to a close with its final Next Step Concert Series performance. This time the series features a new musical by Nathan Christensen and Scott Murphy, Broadcast.  Broadcast comes to the Next Step Concert Series June 23-25. Steve Pacek, 11th Hour's Associate Artistic Director and Co-Founder, directs. Amanda Morton is the Music Director. All Dolled Up! Benefit Concert for the Children's Aid Society Announced


Cast members of the upcoming production of ANNIE WARBUCKS will perform at The Triad on Tues, June 20 at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Children's Aid Society of New York, which strives to improve the lives of the 120,000 families it serves annually with recreation programs, academic tutoring, and medical resources.

After his first serious relationship ends, Steven Hilton (Jonathan Rivera) seeks advice and comfort from his circle of friends. Through several humorous, revealing and honest moments, Steven realizes he may be looking for love in the wrong places. Along the way, he discovers that friends can be your true soulmates.
