Cece Teneal's ICONS celebrates 20 years of arts and entertainment of Central Florida's homegrown and internationally known blues-centric soprano, Cece Teneal. Orlando Sings is one of Central Florida’s newest professional arts organizations and has already had an exciting and successful first season.  Led by Artistic and Executive Director Dr. Andrew Minear, Orlando Sings serves as an umbrella organization for a family of singing groups including two professional ensembles, the Orlando Sings Symphonic Chorus and the Solaria Singers. This young organization has already had a great start to its first season with full and sold-out houses for each of the three concerts they have presented as well as a successful, sold-out gala fundraiser.

Emmy Award-winning Philadelphia-based composer, playwright and music therapist Andrea Green is launching a new original song, an anthem for the times - “We’re All In This Together” - on multiple internet platforms and commercial media.

Inspired by calls for unity from Dr. Anthony Fauci and President-Elect Joe Biden, Green wrote the song and enlisted other Philadelphia area talents to participate in her song and music video on a truly shoe-string budget.

'We're All in This Together” is my gift to fellow Americans,” Green stated. “It is my way of helping to unite the country during this challenging, divisive time. I feel it is so important to get the song out there now.”

IPEX's initial roster includes independent music company Reservoir, production company Gershwin Entertainment Corporation, and musicals including Broadway's A Night with Janis Joplin, Tony Award-Winning Million Dollar Quartet, and the in-development Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust Road.

Atlanta's Capitol City Opera will launch its 2017-18 season on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 at 8 p.m. with Rising Stars, a new staged concert format designed to highlight more than a dozen of the Atlanta-area's most promising young voices. All of the singers are based in Atlanta, and are exceptional talents pursuing a career in singing.

The Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC) honors the remarkable legacy of legendary composer and beloved American musical storyteller Richard M. Sherman and LACC advocates and benefactors Mary Blodgett and Carlton Calvin at its annual fundraiser, Gala Bel Canto, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 6 p.m., at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion's Grand Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

According to a report on nypost.com, the musical GIANT, which played last month at the Dallas Theater Center, will be heading to the Public Theater in Fall and has potential to transfer to Broadway.

Dallas Theater Center presents Giant at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center through Feb. 19. Tony Award-nominated Michael Greif will direct this new musical by Sybille Pearson and Michael John LaChiusa. Aaron Lazar stars as Bick and Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow) plays Leslie. Lazarand Baldwin recently stopped by Dallas' GMT whwre they performed a song from the show.
