HBO has confirmed that award-winning composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda will return for the third season of the fantasy drama.

Season three will see “Will” (Amir Wilson), the bearer of The Subtle Knife, and “Lyra” (Dafne Keen), the prophesied child, travel through multiple worlds to find and protect each other.

HBO and BBC One have renewed the drama series HIS DARK MATERIALS for a third season, it was announced today by Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming. Production on the eight-episode third season is slated to begin in Cardiff in 2021.

Netflix has released the trailer for The Letter for the King, the story of a ruthless prince who threatens to cast the world into darkness, when a young knight in training named Tiuri (Amir Wilson) embarks on an epic quest to deliver a secret letter to the king.
