Riverside Theatre Sets Upcoming Comedy Zone Experiences

Due to the great success of last years' themed Comedy Zone Experiences, Comedy Zone weekends from May through December 2016 will continue the fun with Summer Nights, Vegas Nights, Oktoberfest Nights and Winter Nights.

While the Comedy Zone events continue with professional stand-up comedians in the Waxlax Stage, live local bands on the Live In The Loop outdoor stage, and delicious food hot off the grill from Big Racks Catering, each themed Comedy Zone Experience will have special events specifically geared towards those special nights.

SUMMER NIGHTS

Summer Nights will be the theme starting with the May 6th & 7th weekend. Spend a cheerful evening with family and friends on our front lawn and under the oak trees. Live bands will play your favorite summertime tunes while backyard games like corn hole and ladder ball will be available for all to play. On select nights, Summer Wine and Craft Beer flights will be available for a nominal fee.

Comedy Zone Summer Nights take place May 6 & 7, May 20 & 21, June 3 & 4, and June 17 & 18.

VEGAS NIGHTS

Vegas Nights follows Summer Nights. Patrons are invited to our exciting Las Vegas-style casino night parties with live entertainment inside and outside the theatre. Play a game of chance at the blackjack and craps tables, or get a lucky hand at Caribbean poker. Play with our 'funny' money and then cash in your winnings for a chance to win some great prizes. The Live In The Loop outdoor stage will continue to feature local bands on Fridays with Saturdays becoming Salsa Dance Nights lead by Joe and Shari Tessier from the 14th Avenue Dance Studio.

The authentic casino gaming tables are provided for entertainment purposes only. All proceeds will benefit children and family programming at Riverside Children's Theatre. (Must be 18 year or older to play.)

Comedy Zone Vegas Nights take place July 1 & 2, July 15 & 16, July 29 & 30, August 12 & 13, and August 26 & 27.

OKTOBERFEST NIGHTS

Oktoberfest Nights follows Vegas Nights as the Comedy Zone becomes a Deutschland Biergarten with delicious German-style food, awesome beers, and German music.

Comedy Zone Oktoberfest Nights take place September 9 & 10, September 23 & 24, October 7 & 8, and October 21 & 22.

WINTER NIGHTS

Winter Nights is the Holiday hang-out as Riverside Theatre is bedecked with cheer, lights and maybe a little snow - the perfect place to come with family and friends.

Comedy Zone Winter Nights take place November 11 & 12, December 2 & 3, December 9 & 10, and December 16 & 17.

Tickets for Comedy Zone are $16 for general admission and $18 for reserved seating.

Live In The Loop concerts are FREE. No Tickets required.
