Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Adds Broadway & TV Star Darren Criss to 25th Annual 'NIGHT OF STARS'

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced a major new addition to its 25th Anniversary NIGHT OF STARS, which will be presented on Saturday, February 11, at 7 pm. Darren Criss, perhaps best known for his years co-starring in the TV hit Glee, is replacing the previously announced Patti LuPone, who is opening on Broadway this spring in the new musical War Paint.

The spectacular 25th Anniversary NIGHT OF STARS will be hosted by master showmanMichael Feinstein and feature an amazing line-up of award-winning performers and show biz legends including (in alphabetical order) organist Cameron Carpenter, actor Alan Cumming,singers Denyce Graves and Neil Sedaka, plus movement artists Lil Buck and Jon Boogz, Greg Schreiner's Hollywood Revisited, Tap Ensemble by Nouveau Productions, theKravis Center Pops Orchestra with conductor Sam Krieger, and more. Robert Pullen is serving as director of this star-studded extravaganza that will be filled with surprises.

Darren Criss

Actor, musician and Emmy-nominated composer, Darren Criss stars in the upcoming Indie comedy, Smitten, directed by Academy award winner Barry Morrow and most recently appeared on Emmy award winning FX series, American Horror Story. He starred on Broadway in the title role of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award winning Best Musical Revival, and as J. Pierrepont Finch in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. He is best known for his breakout role as Blaine Anderson on Fox's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series Glee.

The San Francisco-native is a co-founder of StarKid Productions, a Chicago-based theatre company whose works have spurred viral hits, multiple Billboard charting cast albums, and sold-out national tours. He is the founder of the New York City's first showtunes music festival, Elsie Fest. His additional film, TV and stage credits include Girl Most Likely opposite Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening, The Wind Rises, Web Therapy, ABC's Backstage with Disney on Broadway, Michael Feinstein's New Year's Eve Special on PBS as well as hosting duties for the NewNowNext Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
