Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, announces the completion of Riverside Theatre's Outdoor Bar & Grill with Grand Opening festivities planned for Friday, July 7.

With the incredible success of the Theatre's outdoor concerts, Comedy Zone, and new Howl at the Moon experiences, a structure with a catering kitchen and bar was needed to better provide for our patrons.

Over the last five years, the Theatre's Live in the Loop area has come alive with music, food and drink serving over 35,000 people during that time period.

"Since 2012, it has really been exciting to see, what was once an under-used area of our campus, transform into a thriving gathering place now known as Live in the Loop," says Mr. Moses. "This new facility addition will enable us to continue to meet the needs of our audience and bring new and exciting experiences to our community all year long."

The new Outdoor Bar & Grill will continue to serve beverages and specialty drinks as well as selected hot off the grill menu items by Café 66.

"I love working with Riverside," says Jimbo Carroll, owner of Café 66. "I savor the experience of cooking and showcasing our menu for the wonderful patrons who come to enjoy the music and shows."

Happy Hour will be held on July 7th from 6-7pm with food and drink specials. A ribbon cutting of the new structure will take place at 6:15pm followed by our Live in The Loop outdoor concert featuring the band, East Harbor.

Howl at the Moon performances will also be held that night at 7:30pm and 9:30pm featuring musicians Ken Gustafson and Neal Kern. More than just dueling pianos, Howl at The Moon is a high-energy music show like no other where audience members can sing and dance to music they select.

And, Riverside Theatre's Vegas Nights continues from 6pm -10pm the entire month of July with authentic casino-style gaming tables in the lobby. Play a game of chance at the blackjack and craps tables, or get a lucky hand at Caribbean poker. Play with the Theatre's 'casino money' and then cash in your winnings for raffle tickets to win some great prizes. Gaming is provided for entertainment purposes only. All proceeds will benefit children's scholarships at Riverside Theatre for Kids. (Must be 18 years or older to play.)
