The Abbey has announced that Broadway and screen star Jeremy Jordan will be the first performer in The Abbey's brand new Broadway Spotlight Series. Jeremy will perform his solo cabaret Breaking Character, previously seen at NYC's 54 Below, on January 5 at 8 p.m.

Jeremy is a Tony Award nominee for his work in the lead role in Newsies on Broadway, and has also starred in Rock of Ages, West Side Story and Bonnie & Clyde. He is also known for his work on NBC's Smash and Joyful Noise. Jeremy will star alongside Anna Kendrick in the upcoming film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years.

"We're thrilled to continue to bring world-class talent like Jeremy Jordan to our stage," said Kenny Howard, Artistic Director for The Abbey. "Our new Broadway Spotlight Series will be an amazing opportunity for the Orlando community to experience some of the biggest stars on Broadway right in their own backyard, and I couldn't think of a better performer to kick that off than Jeremy."

In Breaking Character, Jeremy recounts iconic moments from his budding career and performs the songs that have defined his swift rise to stardom.

Tickets to Jeremy Jordan's Breaking Character are on sale now and can be purchased at TicketWeb.com. Tickets are $60 for general admission and $80 for VIP, which include a meet and greet with the star.
