Professional vocalist Kelly Morris Rowan will return to The Winter Park Playhouse on July 13 and 14, 2016 to premiere her new cabaret in the theatre's popular Spotlight Cabaret Series - Rowan will treat cabaret audiences to her solo cabaret, Diary of a New York City Nanny, which will chronicle her comedic adventures as an actor/nanny in the Big Apple through pop and musical theatre favorites. Christopher Leavy, Playhouse Musical Director, will accompny on the piano. Kelly was last seen at The Winter Park Playhouse last Spring, in the Jerry Herman musical revue Showtune! where she impressed patrons with her amazing vocals and powerful performances. Kelly also performs as a full-time cast member of The Voices of Liberty at Walt Disney World as well as at Univeral Studios and Capone's.

A Virginia native, Kelly received her BFA in musical theatre from Shenandoah University and then promptly moved to New York City. There she met with success on stage and has been performing ever since as a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. Kelly has performed in all types of shows, from cabarets to Renaissance Faires, and in 2012-13 traveled as a vocalist with Blackmore's Night, the famous Renaissance rock band of legendary guitarist Richie Blackmore.

General Admission tickets are $20 plus a one drink minimum. Once sold out, a limited number of "Standing Room Only" tickets are available for $10. Seating is limited so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a 7:30 pm cabaret.
