Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Ethel Merman has been buzzing on everyone's lips since the annual Orlando Fringe Teaser last week! It has been mentioned on numerous must-see lists around town. The cast and crew have been fairly tight-lipped about what to expect, but we expect to see something as big and brassy as Miss Merman herself!

The evening of entertainment is a 60-minute musical trip down memory lane coming to the Blue Venue of Orlando Fringe 2017 for just 7 shows. This heart-warming and comedic show explores how to survive Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness by following the brassiest Diva of them all: Ethel Merman! Come along on a showtune-filled, laughter inducing, "one-man show" about growing up gay in a Pentecostal household in the bible belt where his only saviors were community theater, an old record player, and the vinyl recordings of Broadway's greatest diva! Featuring some of her most well-known songs such as "Anything Goes," "I Got Lost In His Arms," and "Everything's Coming Up Roses." With Ethel by your side, life doesn't just get better it gets FABULOUS!

According to Mickey Layman, "The show is about finding that one thing that pushes us to keep going. That spark that leads you out of your darkest times, and into a world that is so much brighter than you ever could've imagined. It's about having the courage to find love, live the life you want, and chase those crazy dreams that nobody had faith in but you. It's about that thing that inspires you to hope. For me, Everything I Need to Know I learned from Ethel Merman." You really don't want to miss this one!
