Celtic Thunder will bring their MYTHOLOGY tour to Jacksonville this fall, and tickets go on sale this Monday, April 15th at 10AM through the Artist Series! Celtic Thunder's MYTHOLOGY show plays at the Times-Union Center's Moran Theater on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 7:00PM for one performance only!

MYTHOLOGY tells the story of Celtic Thunder's ancestors in Ireland, their legends, their history and their stories. It's the lifeblood of modern day Ireland, and it's influences from their Celtic past that are still reflected in its people today. Like the Celts, MYTHOLOGY is bold, challenging, strong, proud and steeped in history. On the set of MYTHOLOGY, the old and the new combine, modern catalyst images are projected onto ancient standing stones, a giant Celtic cross takes center stage, and the tempo of the music is strongly echoed in the theatrical and moody lighting.

All six Celtic Thunder principals- comprised of vocalists Emmet Cahill, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, George Donaldson, Neil Byrne and Colm Keegan - are featured prominently in MYTHOLOGY, from haunting solo numbers to rousing ensembles and great original tracks that were written especially for Mythology, such as the show opening number "Voices" and the finale "My Land."

Tickets for Celtic Thunder start at $47.00 and are available at the Artist Series Box Office between 10AM-5PM, Monday-Friday, at (904) 442-BWAY (2929) and online 24/7 at www.artistseriesjax.org. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more at (904) 442-2947 or groupsales@fscj.edu.

The world-renowned supergroup continues to astonish audiences, traveling as easily across the genres of folk, traditional Irish, adult contemporary, rock and classical crossover, as they travel the world, performing for an ever-growing number of fans. The band just wrapped a highly successful 67 show American tour ending in Los Angeles just days after the band found time to squeeze into their schedule a benefit concert and day of outreach in NYC for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The band's efforts raised over $50,000 for residents of the affected area, Rockaway Beach, NY.

MYTHOLOGY presents the perfect blend of entertainment, ideology and Gaelic spirituality, providing a modern twist on the old Celtic storytelling tradition. The new show was produced by ShaRon Browne; the MYTHOLOGY album was produced by David Munro, Musical Director and Composer.

"We had a blast making MYTHOLOGY. The music choices were carefully selected to suit each guys' personalities and give them something they can really dig their teeth into. The musical arrangements, the orchestra, the band are all great also, and really help to create our best show to date. It's great to be singing songs that are so much a part of who we are. It's our heritage and it really resonates in MYTHOLOGY" - Neil Byrne, Celtic Thunder

Named Top World Music Artist twice by industry bible Billboard, Celtic Thunder's six male soloists perform both solo and ensemble numbers. They are known for performing an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from traditional Irish fare to international hits such as "The Boys are Back in Town" and "Still Haven't Found", as well as original compositions by the musical directors/composers and individual group member Keith Harkin's "Lauren & I". Their live shows are recognized for the use of dramatic effects via lighting and choreography as well as a stage set resembling an ancient stone pathway drawn from Celtic lore.
