The Village Playwrights have announced their lineup for the rest of summer 2013. Details below!

JUL 24 - Gwen Baer - 2 hours

AUG 14 - Debbra Liverman - 1 hour - Uncle Clyde promised to teach his teen niece, Mary, the art of dominance, on one condition, she must continue going to school. Harris, Uncle Clyde's lover, feels that's not a good idea because of Mary's history of being abused. Mary believes she was born to be the Mother of people who lack love and discipline.

AUG 28 - Bill Koch - 1 hour - "BONAVENTURE--another room at the WHITE WIND INN":
a married, gay Episcopal priest, vacationing in Ptown receives an unexpected visit from the son of an old friend.

THERE IS A LOT OF JABBER IN THE WORLD by Sarah Sarai - 1 hour: At Beverlywood, a psychiatric halfway house in Los Angeles, a young woman reveals her perspective, including ''Isaac Newton invented applesauce' and, more seriously, how she stops the jabber.

SEP 11 - Barry Putt - 2 hours: EQUAL is set in Esfahan, Iran in the present day and focuses on an Iranian same-sex couple who are trying to escape persecution for their sexual orientation.

The Village Playwrights meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month at 8:00pm at the LGBT Center, at 208 West 13 Street. Suggested contribution for the use of the room: $3.00.
