TWO PERFORMANCES ONLY! THIS WEEKEND! Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at Theatre 80 (80 St. Marks Place)

As part of HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011, Mimi Stern-Wolfe's Downtown Music Productions and HOWL! Arts Project present PINS AND NEEDLES for two performances only -- on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 8:00pm -- at Theater 80 (80 St. Marks Place) in Manhattan. Eleanor Reissa directs, with musical direction by Mimi Stern-Wolfe.

Initially sponsored by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU) when it premiered in 1937, PINS AND NEEDLES was and is a unique call for social justice and fair equity. The large repertory of songs includes "Sitting on Your Status Quo," "Sing Me a Song of Social Significance," "Chain Store Daisy," and "Four Little Angels of Peace."

The cast of PINS AND NEEDLES includes Charles Baran, Darcy Dunn, Paul Malamphy, Jeannine Otis, Michael Schilke, Mark Singer, and Laura Wolfe.

PINS AND NEEDLES runs Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 8pm, as part of at HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011, at Theatre 80 (80 St. Marks Place). Proceeds benefit The Actors Fund's HOWL! H.E.L.P. Tickets are $20, and available online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/200434
