A heartfelt and talent-filled benefit took place at Don't Tell Mama for the Young Minds Foundation Friday night.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the first ever NYMF Artist Fellowship, a two-year program that will be awarded annually to an exceptional artist of note who is changing the landscape of musical theater. The fellowship involves the presentation of a reading or concert in the first year of the fellowship and a full production in the second year.

AUNT JACK follows the madcap family of Norman Sable-Church. After breaking up with his long-time boyfriend, Norman moves clear across the country, leaving his two dads in a tizzy. Months later, he comes home to clear the air and introduce his parents to his unexpected new partner.

Little Girl Blue, plays at Don't Tell Mama on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 7 pm. Jaffe explores the classic songs and standards of the great female artists June Christy, Carmen McRae, Cleo Laine and Rosemary Clooney, and the music of composers ranging from Rogers and Hart to Leonard Bernstein.

S.P. Monahan's new comedy AUNT JACK will have its New York premiere in June 2019 at Theater for the New City's Community Space, 155 First Avenue. The production will be presented by Unstoppable Theater in association with Less Than Rent Theatre and will be directed by John Lampe.
