The Act Too Players state their goal as "The Act Too Players and The Boiler Room Theatre have been hosting Summer Camps together for the past 9 years. The partnership has been formed to provide students the best theatrical experience in Williamson County. Every student gets the opportunity to rehearse with the best directors, musical directors, and technical staff. Our goal is to instruct your child on the art of theatre while providing a fun, safe, environment. To Celebrate Act Too Player's 10th Anniversary, we are offering two musical theatre intensives in which will undertake two different musicals and mount them in a fully produced musical. Les Miserables is one selection for the summer. Originally adapted from Victor Hugos timeless novel, LES MISÉRABLES SCHOOL EDITION introduces a new generation to the grand and inspirational story that has touched the hearts of millions. For, within LES MISÉRABLES SCHOOL EDITION lies the universal truth To love another person is to see the face of God. The second choice is the world famous CATS! Based on the universally popular poetry of T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London's New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years. CATS's London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Wintergarden Theatre for just over 18 years. Universally loved songs like, "Memory", "Mistoffelees", and "The Jellicle Ball"."

They are also offering Weeklong Camps the months of June and July. In celebration of ACT TOO's 10th Anniversary, they will be studying shows that have been performed on Broadway in the past decade. Some shows will include: MAMMA MIA!, HAIRSPRAY, Billy Elliot, IN THE HEIGHTS, JERSEY BOYS, AVENUE Q, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, ANYTHING GOES AND SHREK the MUSICAL, among many others. All levels are welcome. For junior campers, they offer 2 different camp opportunities which will give students twice the opportunity to explore the finest of Broadway. Each week of camp ends with a performance at the Boiler Room Theatre.
