Secret Weapon Theatre is proud to present the world premiere of "price" by David Fierro, directed by Kon Yi at the Kraine Theater as part of The Frigid Fringe Festival 2010. Two teens on the run find comfort in a deserted cabin in the woods where they discover the thing they are running from is themselves. The story moves from past to present as they both must choose if who they were will be who they will remain. But before all that can be resolved, a price must be paid.

Performances are: Wednesday 2/24 @ 7:30 PM, Friday 2/26 @ 8:30 PM, Wednesday 3/3 @ 9 PM, Thurs 3/4 @ 6 PM, and Sat 3/6 @ 4 PM. All performances will be held at The Kraine Theater, 85 East 4th Street.

Secret Weapon Theatre is excited to bring its first play to New York. Its previous work, Mr. P's Big Day off, a tale of video game characters faced with their own extinction, was a hit at the San Francisco International Fringe Festival 2008. The company is now also currently developing it's next play, LIVE NUDE GIRLS for a run in the summer of 2010. price had several reading in the Bay Area and received a developmental workshop at the Custom Made Theatre Company in San Francisco.

The cast includes:

Mary Ellen Schneider (AMEE) is currently in her second year of the MFA in Acting program at Columbia University. Before arriving in New York, she studied theatre at Cal Poly Pomona where her favorite roles include Touchstone (As You Like It), Chris Gorman (Rumors), Mary Brenham (Our Country's Good), Louisa/Chairwoman (Hard Times), Heidi (Fuddy Meers) and Becca (Refuge). While at Columbia, her favorite roles to work on have been Nina (The Seagull), Irina (Three Sisters), Lady Anne (Richard III), Pupil (The Lesson), Miss Julie (After Miss Julie), Lulu (Lulu) and Myrrhine (Lysistrata). She has also originated roles in the world premieres of Take the Parkway North..., The Centaur Play, and Screaming with Maria.

David Klasko (LANCE) is currently in his first year of the MFA Acting program at Columbia University. New York credits include The Oresteia at the Miller Theater, directed by Ulla and Niky Wolcz; and Dan Kitrosser's On the Way to My Abortion, directed by Andrew Davies. He graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA with a degree in American Studies and Film Studies, acting in more than ten productions including Proof (Hal), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Molina), and Tale of the Allergist's Wife (Dr. Taub). He also wrote and performed with the Brandeis sketch comedy group, Boris' Kitchen. Last seen in Michael Fequiere's short film, Faux Pas (Big Apple Film Festival Selection), and Ted Balgley's Shoot for the Moon, he also writes and performs with The New Rapscallions, a comedy group. He is the Assistant Producer of the Drama Desk Award winning Off-Broadway sensation Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words at the Triad Theater

The creative team includes:

Kon Yi (director) Credits include John Douglas Weidner's Rain Machine, Clytemnestra, and Screaming with Maria, James Ryan Caldwell's Looking for Love, Yi Hyang Dong's The Small Cottage by the Rail Road (Seoul), Thomas Mann's The Transposed Heads (Seoul), and Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood (Seoul). Recipient of The DuBose and Dorothy Heyward Memorial Fund . MFA in Theatre Directing at Korean National University of Arts (2002) and MFA candidate in Theatre Directing at Columbia University (2011)

David Fierro (playwright) is a writer, actor and director. His plays include: Confidences and Conversations, evening at nuvo, Mr. P's Big Day Off, trust, and blind to the fourth. His next play LIVE NUDE GIRLS will be making it's world premiere in the summer of 2010. He is currently getting his MFA in Acting at Columbia University.
