Opening night is Monday, November 3rd at 8:00 pm for the Lincoln Center Theater production of THE OLDEST BOY, a new play by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Rebecca Taichman. The cast features Ernest Abuba, Tsering Dorjee, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Takemi Kitamura, James Saito, Jon Norman Schneider, James Yaegashi and Nami Yamamoto. THE OLDEST BOY will run through Sunday, December 28th at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65th Street). Check out a first look below!

Sara Ruhl's new play, commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater, is about differing cultures, competing ideas of faith and love, and a families decision to send their son Tenzin, who is recognized as a reincarnated Buddhist teacher to a monastery in India or to keep him home.

THE OLDEST BOY has sets by Mimi Lien, costumes by Anita Yavich, lighting by Japhy Weideman, sound by Darron L West, choreography by Barney O'Hanlon, and puppetry design/direction by Matt Acheson.

THE OLDEST BOY is preformed Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Please note: there will be no performance on November 27th or December 25th. There are added matinees at 2pm on November 28th and December 26th.
