Musical's Tonight! Announces Understudies For Performance

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next edition of At This Performance… to be held on Sunday, April 6th and Monday, April 7th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.Performers scheduled to perform on Sunday, April 6th include Steven Cutts (Understudy for the role of Seaweed J. Stubbs in Hairspray), Laura Marie Duncan (Understudy for the role of Nellie Forbush in South Pacific), Tim Martin Gleason (Understudy for the role of The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera), William Michals (Standby for the role of Emile De Beque in South Pacific), Linda Mugleston (Understudy for the roles of Frau Blucher and Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein), ChrisTina Marie Norrup (Understudy for the role of Inga in Young Frankenstein) and Brynn O'Malley (Understudy for the role of Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

Performers scheduled to perform on Monday, April 7th include Heather Ayers (Understudy for the roles of Elizabeth and Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein), Corey Boardman (Standby for the roles of Gabe and Henry in Next to Normal), Justin Patterson (Understudy for the role of The Monster in Young Frankenstein), Marissa Perry (Standby for the role of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray), Arbender J. Robinson (Understudy for the role of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid), Shaun Taylor-Corbett (Understudy for the roles of Usnavi, Sonny and Piragua Guy in In The Heights) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Understudy for the roles of Martha, Thea and Anna in Spring Awakening). Musical Director/Accompanist will be for the evening will be Jeff Lankov .
