HAM, A MUSICAL MEMOIR's Todd Schroeder Signs with Vortexian Talent Management

Musical composer, performer and media personality Todd Schroeder is now being represented by Michael Nicklin of Vortexian Talent Management (www.vortexiantalent.com), it has been announced today.

Schroeder is currently musical directing and performing in "HAM, A Musical Memoir," starring Sam Harris and directed by Billy Porter ("Kinky Boots"). "HAM" is a musical adaptation of Harris' book of the same name, and will begin with a three-week run in January 2015 at New York's ARS NOVA Theater.

Schroeder was named BroadwayWorld.com's "Musical Director of the Year, 2013" for his work that spans over two decades performing with, musical directing, and collaborating with a coterie of distinguished performers, including Angela Lansbury, Jason Alexander, Joan Ryan, and Sam Harris. He's had the honor of performing at prestigious and venerable venues such as Carnegie Hall and the White House, and with the Boston Pops, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Schroeder has released six original albums, and has composed music for a variety of television shows and TV movies for Lifetime, Showtime and Cinemax.

In addition, he has appeared on TV, acting as musical director on a number of talk shows, including "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and "The Late Late Show," as well as appearing as part-musical director, part-sidekick on a daytime talk show television pilot. He's also written a number of original musicals, including "Braveheart," "The Empower Pack," "Unbeatable," and "Longing4Love.com." And for over a decade, he served as vocal director for Disney's "Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular," and musical director for Universal Studio Japan's "Wicked," as well as a number of live performance shows at their park in Osaka. He also regularly teaches a Master Class entitled "Auditioning for Today's Musical Theater" across the US as well as internationally.
