Sheri Sanders is not only a trailblazing educator when employing pop/rock music in Musical Theatre, but she has also been surviving death-defying acts as the "Company Cover" in the workshop of a new Broadway-bound musical "CHIX 6". While Sanders is about to launch exciting things in January for her online training program "Rock The Audition", she's been embodying a plethora of comic book superheroes by day.

Lourds Lane, Indie Rock sensation, and creator of CHIX 6 asked Sheri to step in and portray her character "Rise", a superhero on the autism spectrum, during the one-day workshop in April of 2016. Sheri's unique take on the role prompted the creative team to invite her to cover the entire company, as they believed she could take this wildly diverse character pool and make each role her own.

"CHIX 6 is a modern pop/rock musical about a 25 year old female comic book artist who learns to love herself and reconnect to her dreams when her own super heroine creations come to life. In collaboration with UNESCO, this production will connect global "superheroes" to the NYC theater audience."

Sanders has been quite the chameleon during this rehearsal process. In the first week of rehearsal, Sheri learned Nicolette Harts' entire track, and also swung in for Lavon Fisher Wilsons while LaVon was doing another reading. Most recently filling in for performers Molly Tynes, Corey Mach, and Kennedy Caughell. Sheri has also had the pleasure of popping back into Lourd's role, giving the creator the opportunity to make tweaks for the upcoming shows. Sanders says that she will "jump in every time a character is not in the room and play them till they come back. It's nuts!"

"CHIX 6 will be fusing music, art, and technology to connect superheroes around the globe with the theater audience for a revolutionary theatrical experience that you won't soon forget. Discounts and special giveaways for cape-wearing attendees who come dressed as their own inner superheroes!"

Director, Jackson Grace Gay has called Sanders a "lifesaver". While Sheri has no confirmed dates of performance, she says that "The THRILL RIDE was being in service to such an incredible show during the rehearsal process. I bow down to ANYONE who is a cover." Creator Lourds Lane even coined Sheri "The secret weapon of the show!"
