FROG KISS stars Stephanie Rothenberg, who plays Princess Clementine, and Curtis Holbrooke, who plays the frog, were in the WGNT studio recently to perform selections "live" from the musical, now running in a pre-Broadway production at Virginia Stage Company. Watch below!

FROG KISS, the award-winning critical and audience favorite of the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival, began its world premiere performances on January 15th at the historic Wells Theatre, home of Virginia Stage Company, Norfolk. This saucy and swinging musical with book and lyrics by Charles Leipart and music by Eric Schorr, is adapted from the novella The Frog Prince, A Fairytale for Consenting Adults by Stephen Mitchell. Performances play through February 3rd, 2013.

Curtis Holbrook (West Side Story, Xanadu, All Shook Up), cited for his "Outstanding Individual Performance" at NYMF 2010, returns as the Frog. Joining Curtis will be Stephanie Rothenberg (How To Succeed... opposite Daniel Radcliffe and Nick Jonas), Aisha de Haas (Roadshow at The Public, Caroline, or Change and Rent), among the Broadway experienced cast. Kenneth Robeson (Avenue Q) is directing, with musical supervision by Zane Mark (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), orchestrations by Daryl Waters (Memphis), choreography by Lorna Ventura (Avenue Q), costumes by Paul Tazewell (Jesus Christ Superstar 2012) scenic design by Neil Patel (Wonderland), lighting by Howell Brinkley (A Christmas Story) and sound by Peter Fitzgerald (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert).

FROG KISS is being presented by Virginia Stage Company in collaborations with Broadway producers Tamara Tunie and Susanne Adamski.
