Magician BJ Hickman Performs at Peterborough Cub Scout Celebration

There were "warm and fuzzies" for New Hampshire Magician BJ Hickman this month!

Jeff King is leader of Cub Scout Pack 8 in Peterborough, NH (also Parks and Rec. Director there) He booked Hickman to do a magic show for the Scouts for their "Blue and Gold" Scouting celebration. Most Cub Scouts celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week in February with a "birthday party" called the blue and gold banquet. In nearly all packs, the blue and gold banquet is the highlight of the year. It brings families together for an evening of fun.

This magic show for Cub Scout Pack 8 in Peterborough was when Magician Hickman and Scout Leader King met again, after how many years? Well, Jeff King was a volunteer from the audience at a magic show Hickman did for the Downtown Dover Summer Festival WHEN KING WAS 10. King's son, Aiden (age 10) was a volunteer from the audience this time.

Magician BJ Hickman entertains family audiences primarily throughout New England and occasionally elsewhere. Hickman is a regular performer at Hollywood's Magic Castle and several other venues in the Los Angeles area. He and his family live in Dover, New Hampshire where he bases his business. He has performed at First Night Boston for 15 years, local area fairs, festivals, and school assemblies.

His performance scheduled for this summer for The Cochecho Arts Festival will mark Hickman's 41st year performing at events for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce. The Dover Summer Festival where King was a volunteer from the audience was one of Hickman's first years doing shows for events sponsored by the Dover Chamber.
