It's the 45th anniversary of Badfinger's 1972's iconic album Straight Up. To celebrate, original band member Joey Molland brings his current band to the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) on Sunday, April 30 at 7:30pm. They'll perform the entire album, alongside with other legendary Badfinger songs. This unforgettable evening brings one of British Rock's classic acts to the Capitol Center's Spotlight Café for the first time. This event is generously sponsored by CherylAnne Williams.

One of the original signings to the Beatles' Apple Records label, Badfinger had its first hit single with a Paul McCartney penned song, "Come and Get It", which went to #7 in the U.S. charts. They followed this with their own compositions "No Matter What", "Day After Day" (produced by George Harrison), and "Baby Blue". The band played on John Lennon's Imagine album and joined George Harrison for the Concert for Bangladesh. VH1 produced a "Behind the Music" documentary about the band, whose songs continue to heard in films (e.g., The Departed), on television (including the Breaking Bad finale), and on the radio. Harry Nilsson's chart-topping version of Badfinger's "Without You" was featured in the 2016 film "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot".

Tickets for the April 30 performance of "Badfinger's 'Straight up' Live and Complete Starring Joey Molland" are $22, plus any applicable fees for phone/Internet orders. They can be ordered by calling the Capitol Center for the Arts at (603) 225-1111 or online at www.ccanh.com.
