The Wick Theatre Reopens With BACK HOME AGAIN

The Wick Theatre has been keeping audiences entertained for months now with their dynamic Supper Club Cabarets, which take place in the grand lobby, but now the time has come to open the doors to the main theatre! The first show will be appropriately, Back Home Again, a John Denver tribute by Tom Becker and his band, who have been featured on PBS. Reserve your seats, which will be socially-distanced, by calling the box office at 561-995-2333 or visiting www.thewick.org. Dates November 13 and 14. Concert tickets $68; dinner with show featuring singer Michael Hunsaker followed by the Back Home Again concert, $100.

the foot-stomping fun of "Thank God, I'm a Country Boy", to the tenderness of Annie's Song", to the sweeping grandeur of "Rocky Mountain High" -- Tom and his band will take you on a musical journey into the many facets of John Denver's songwriting, the songs that defined his life, and his passion for the preserving the environment.

Tom Becker is a former member of the Legendary Folk Group, The New Christy Minstrels, and has gone on to appear with Grammy Winners and Music Legends including Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Gregg Allman and Jerry Jeff Walker.

In recent years, Tom began to feel that John Denver's music and message were more important than ever.

"In this time of environmental concerns, and Americans' efforts to simplify their lives, it seems that John Denver's music and message are even more relevant today, yet you rarely hear his music on the radio anymore," said Becker.

During the 3-course dinner prior to the Back Home Again show, guests will be entertained by the incredible sounds of Michael Hunsaker who toured the country in Ragtime and has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway and regionally across America.
