MACBETH, A CHORUS LINE and More Set for South Miami-Dade's 2012-2013 Season

The new South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center has announced its 2012-13 season lineup.  Included in this season is Asolo Repertory Theatre's staging of The Tragedy of Macbeth, Compaigne de Danse, Jean René Delsoin, Siempre Flamenco, Miami Youth Ballet's The Nutcracker, Andy Señor in Broadway Songbook, Botanica by MOMIX, Freckleface Strawberry, The Actor's Gang production of Moliere's Tartuffe, and the national tour of A Chorus Line.

The new South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) is a world-class, multi-disciplinary performing arts center in the heart of the Town of Cutler Bay. The $51 million Center celebrated its grand opening in October 2011. The Center is managed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, with funding support from the Office of the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners. SMDCAC is dedicated to presenting and supporting arts and culture and providing access to the arts to the entire Miami-Dade County community.
