Kelrik Productions presents ANNIE, one of America's most beloved musicals, April 21 - 30 at the San Luis Obispo Guild Hall. Annie will be directed by Kelrik's Artistic Director Erik Austin, with music direction by John Cribb.

This production of ANNIE is a brand new physical incarnation of the iconic Tony Award®-winning original. ANNIE has a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. All three authors received 1977 Tony Awards® for their work.

The production features a 25 member company. In the title role of Annie is Serafina Regusci, an 11- year-old actress from the Arroyo Grande area. Reprising his role as Oliver Warbucks, stars Christian Clarno. In the role of Miss Hannigan is Rosalind Crew making her Kelrik debut. Also starring are Tara Brinkman as Grace, Bobby Kendrick as Rooster, Rebecca Gruett as Lily and Larry Kaml as FDR. Sandy stars as Sandy, Annie's beloved dog. The orphans are played by Ashlyn Cleaves, Bixby Hardy, Josie Hardy, Claire Perales, Shannon Perrine, London Raftery, Eden Seaton, Ella Seaton & Olivia Vieira. Playing a variety of roles including the Hooverville - ites" is the amazing Ensemble cast of Claire Perales, Jay Raferty, Mike Hardy, Mechell Vierra, Libby Parker, Jill Gibson & Larry Kaml.

The original production of ANNIE opened April 21, 1977 at the Alvin Theatre and went on to win the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, seven Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, the Grammy for Best Cast Show Album and seven Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, Best Book (Thomas Meehan) and Best Score (Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin). The show remains one of the biggest Broadway musical hits ever. It ran for 2,377 performances after opening, has been performed in 28 languages and has been running somewhere in the world for 37 years.

The beloved score for ANNIE includes "Maybe," "It's the Hard Knock Life," "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile," "Easy Street," "I Don't Need Anything But You" and the eternal anthem of optimism, "Tomorrow." ANNIE will play April 21 - 30 at the San Luis Obispo Guild Hall 2880 Broad Street in San Luis Obispo. Performances will be Friday 4/21 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday 4/22 and 4/29 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and 4/30 Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale NOW and can be purchased online at www.kelrikproductions.org.
