A tradition in New York at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting since 1994, the Shakespeare Benefit performs its third year in Los Angeles at The Art of Acting Studio on Saturday, April 8th at 7pm and Sunday, April 9th at 7pm. The annual benefit supports Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS.

The production will include Shakespeare scenes, monologues, and sonnets featuring current students, alumni, administration, and faculty. This is a pay-what-you-can event, with every dollar raised donated to BC/EFA. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting has donated over $90,000 since the benefit's inception over two decades ago.
