Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's Announces November Headliners Including Delp, Billings, and More

LA's award-winning supper club Sterling's Upstairs at the legendary Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City, CA, welcomes Broadway Musical Theatre and Nightclub stars Jordan Delp, Alexandra Billings, Korken Alexander and Gina Zollman as its November headliners.

BROADWAY MUSICALS: STRIPPED presents JORDAN DELP - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8th in CAUGHT WITH MY PANTS DOWN with Special Guests Jessica Gisin, Michael Motroni, Jeremiah Lowder, Kristen Heitman, and Melissa Falarski. Carson Schutze serves as Musical Director.

Broadway Musicals: Stripped began as one of those napkin-sketch ideas during a late post-show dinner. Members represented have crossed paths in the rehearsal room of the Civic Light Opera of Southbay Cities in Redondo Beach, CA where they have been seen in productions of The Full Monty, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, Bye Bye Birdie, The Green Room, Cinderella, and most recently Oklahoma. Beyond the seascape of Redondo Beach, they have been on stages in Northern California, Colorado, and Florida. "When you live your life 16 bars at a time, there is real joy that goes with singing a song and taking the journey from first note to final chord," says Delp. "We carpool, sing, dance, and laugh together in the belief that happiness is infectious." The engagement at Sterling's marks the group's Los Angeles debut as a performance troup.


ALEXANDRA BILLINGS will make her Los Angeles cabaret concert debut in EVERBODY'S GIRL - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH with musical direction by Bill Newlin. The engagement is co-presented by Michael Sterling and Ralph Lampkin, Jr. of the Lampkin Music Group in Chicago. A recipient of a MAC award from the Manhattan Association of Concert and Cabaret Artists, Alexandra Billilngs has also recieved 5 After Dark Awards from Gay Chicago Magazine and a Jeff Award (the Chicago equivalent to a Tony Award). Alexandra was nominated for an Artist Director Achievement Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her critically acclaimed one-woman, autobiographical show-in-song Before I Disappear presented in Los Angeles during 2005. Preceded by productions in Chicago and Boston, the show opened Off-Broadway in 2003 at The Producer's Club. More recently, it was presented in Southwest Michigan at the distinguished Acorn Theatre during 2007.

In addition to Alexandra's two recordings Being Alive and The Story Goes One, her work has received national attention from performances in nightclubs and theaters throughout the U.S. including The Empire Room, 88's, The Mercury Theater, Don't Tell Mama's, Gentry's of Chicago,Arci's Place, ParkWest and Toulouse. Ms. Billings received

impressive praise for her guest-starring roles on television's Grey's Anatomy and ER; and was inducted into Chicago's Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame. She is a Viewpoints teacher at Steppenwolf in Chicago and in Los Angeles, alongside Jeff Perry and Tom Irwin; and is a Professor of Viewpoints at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22: EMBRACING YOUR INNER GEEK (A Tribute to Misfits) starring KORKEN ALEXANDER with Special Guest Star Audi Resendez and Musical Direction by James Lent. Korken Alexander just completed a lengthy summer run co-starring in Arizona Theatre Company's world premiere production of The Kite Runner, an adaptation of the best-selling book by Khaled Hosseini. Prior to The Kite Runner, he portrayed the Emcee in Cabaret (Musical Theatre of Los Angeles), 1001 directed by Michael Michetti (Boston Court Theatre), Sojourn at Ararat directed by Nora Armani (The Fountain Theatre), Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Corona Civic Theater), Gershwin's Tip Toes (Whitefire Theatre), Larry in Closer (Hillel Theatre), Julius Caesar (LA Troupe), Romeo and Juliet (New Theatre). Mr. Alexander recently starred in, produced and directed the film Lyfe Lost. Other films include The O.R. and Chapter 7 Entertainment's Promise. He won runner-up on MTV's Little Talent Show, a show that showcased his triple threat talents. His singing quartet, the Tinseltones, were special guests last year on Dr. Phil's Christmas Special. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28 - GINA ZOLLMAN is a seasoned cabaret performer, celebrating a return to the stage after a 4 year absence. Great American Standards, Broadway, and retro-pop classics will be featured in her all new show An Evening with Gina Zollman, conceived and directed by Michael Sterling. With her comedy, acting and writing skills, Gina is noted for an ease in entertaining, interspersed with witty banter. Ms. Zollman has appeared in numerous theatrical productions, such as Oklahoma!, Guys and Dolls and the Mozart Opera The Magic Flute. As a professional chorale member, she has performed all the renowned religious and secular works including the Bach Missas and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, with special appearances at holiday time on KCET TV/Los Angeles, and at New York's Carnegie Hall with The Marina Singers. Gina performed and taught standup comedy and has written and reviewed music for various Los Angeles entertainment publications. An Evening with Gina Zollman was inspired by life threatening adversities which were overcome with commitment and indefatigable determination. Award-winning Musical Director, Pianist and Arranger Steven Applegate has been set to accompany Ms. Zollman in her debut at Sterling's.

Current pricing at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's is a $50 VIP Premium, Preferred Seating Package which includes a four-course, prix-fixe dinner with a choice from four signature entrees, plus a one hour performance. A select number of $25 General Admission, general seating packages (inclusive of a minimum toward food and/or beverage and the performance) is also available.

Saturday dinner seatings begin at 6:30 pm, followed by 8:00 pm performances.

Sunday dinner seatings are an hour ealier, beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a 7:00 pm performance.
