There are only two chances left to catch the latest installment of Show at Barre's sell-out For the Record series: Sincerely, John Hughes. Recapture your favorite 80's movie moments with Bender, Ducky, The Griswolds, and more as Show at Barre pays tribute to the remarkable films and soundtracks of film director icon John Hughes in this one-of-a-kind live concert experience. Barrett Foa, star of the hit TV series NCIS: Los Angeles and American Idol contestants Von Smith and Jackie Tohn lead the exceptional lineup of performers. The show, which runs Friday and Saturday evening at Los Angeles' Barre, VT, will play its final performance on January 29th.

Sincerely, John Hughes features songs and scenes from the motion picture soundtracks of iconic films such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, National Lampoon's Vacation, Home Alone and more. Conceived and directed by Show at Barre executive producers Shane Scheel & Chris Bratten, the "For the Record" combines East Coast-caliber theatrical and vocal talent with the style and spectacle of Los Angeles by showcasing the signature songs and iconic scenes from Hollywood's most legendary directors. The inaugural event of the series, For the Record: Tarantino-headlined by film, television, and Broadway star Tracie Thoms-will launch a full-scale national tour in 2012.

TV and Broadway star Barrett Foa heads a world class ensemble of LA's best and brightest live performers. Joining Foa, Smith, & Tohn will be Ty Taylor (lead singer of Vintage Trouble, Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum, Reprise! Theater Company's Damn Yankees), Jessica KeeNan Wynn (Life Could Be a Dream), Jason Paige (RENT at the Hollywood Bowl); Stevie Mackey, and Tinuke Oyefule.

Sincerely, John Hughes runs Friday and Saturday nights at Barre, VT, located at 1714 N. Vermont Ave. in Los Feliz. Showtime is 9pm, doors open at 7pm for dinner. Two drink minimum Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at www.showatbarre.com. Cash only at the door (if available). The purchase of a ticket is your reservation. Advance ticket buyers receive priority seating. There is a two drink minimum and an 18% gratuity added to all checks.

The show must close January 29th to make room the for the next installment of the "For the Record" concert series, Baz Lurhmann: The Red Curtain Trilogy, which will showcase Lurhmann's landmark films Strictly Ballroom, Romeo + Juliet, and Moulin Rouge!. Other upcoming Show at Barre events include their Tuesday night artist-in-residence series Audra Mae's Tuesday Night Moonshine Shack Party, Shoshana Bean & Jason Robert Brown in concert (Jan. 30), and LA's existential rock band Vintage Trouble (Friday nights after John Hughes).
