Barrett Foa, star of the hit TV series NCIS: Los Angeles and American Idol contestants Von Smith and Jackie Tohn lead the exceptional lineup of performers. The show, which runs Friday and Saturday evening at Los Angeles' Barre, VT, will play its final performance on January 29th.
Sincerely, John Hughes features songs and scenes from the motion picture soundtracks of iconic films such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, National Lampoon's Vacation, Home Alone and more. Conceived and directed by Show at Barre executive producers Shane Scheel & Chris Bratten, the "For the Record" combines East Coast-caliber theatrical and vocal talent with the style and spectacle of Los Angeles by showcasing the signature songs and iconic scenes from Hollywood's most legendary directors. The inaugural event of the series, For the Record: Tarantino-headlined by film, television, and Broadway star Tracie Thoms-will launch a full-scale national tour in 2012.
TV and Broadway star Barrett Foa heads a world class ensemble of LA's best and brightest live performers. Joining Foa, Smith, & Tohn will be Ty Taylor (lead singer of Vintage Trouble, Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum, Reprise! Theater Company's Damn Yankees), Jessica KeeNan Wynn (Life Could Be a Dream), Jason Paige (RENT at the Hollywood Bowl); Stevie Mackey, and Tinuke Oyefule.
