Prepare for a weekend of amazement! Experience a rotating roster of over 25 world-class, master magicians and outstanding variety acts during a one-time only, immersive festival of magic. MagicMania, a four day, five-performance magic marathon, takes place August 17 through August 20 at the Colony Theatre in Burbank.

Created and hosted by Albie Selznick (Smoke and Mirrors, Magic Monday), MagicMania is crowd-pleasing, family-friendly entertainment featuring the best acts from the Magic Castle, America's Got Talent, Penn and Teller's Fool Us, Wizard Wars and more. Show-stopping feats will include sleight of hand, interactive parlor magic and mind-blowing illusions. Each performance is different - no repeats.

Performers set for MagicMania include Jon Armstrong (two-time Magic Castle "Close-up Magician of the Year"), DAna Daniels (Broadway's The Illusionists 1900 and 5-time Magic Castle "Magician of the Year"), Andrew Goldenhersh (two-time Magic Castle "Parlour Magician of the Year"), Christopher Hart (award-winning magician who played 'The Thing' in The Addams Family films), Pop Haydn (seven-time Magic Castle "Magician of the Year"), Ivan Pecel (nine-time world champion juggler), Naathan Phan (Masters of Illusion, Wizard Wars, America's Got Talent) and Joel Ward (Penn and Teller's Fool Us), plus The Bistrevsky Bros., The Bornsteins, Simon Coronel, Derek the Mime, Bruce Gold, Chris Juggerio, Matt Marcy and more - over 25 performers in total.

Creator/host Albie Selznick is a life-time member of the Magic Castle and the creator/performer of Smoke and Mirrors, the hit theatrical magic show that ran in L.A. and N.Y. for five years (Los Angeles Times "Critic's Choice"). In response to the enormous enthusiasm of Los Angeles audiences for that show, Albie drew on his many friends in the magic community to create Magic Monday, a weekly variety show that features new and different acts every Monday during the summer months. Selznick began his career during the '80s and '90s as a co-creator of The Mums, the groundbreaking circus-theater trio that Andy Warhol praised in Interview magazine: "The Mums do for the art of juggling and magic what Elvis did for rock and roll." Albie is also an accomplished actor, recently seen in How To Get Away With Murder, Code Black and My Crazy-Ex Girlfriend, and recurring this summer in Amazon series The Last Tycoon and Goliath.

Performances of MagicMania take place Aug. 17 through Aug. 20 on Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday at 3 p.m. Audiences are invited to arrive early for pre-show entertainment which begins one-half hour prior to each performance. Tickets are $35 for each performance. A three-show Festival Pass is available for $70, or see all five shows for $110.

The Colony Theatre is located at 555 North Third Street, Burbank, CA 91502. Parking is free in the adjacent structure.
