New York based Burning Clown Productions are thrilled to present the West Coast Premiere of the Drama Desk nominated play, The Navigator, written by Eddie Antar and directed by Leslie Kincaid Burby (NYIT Award winner, Best Direction). THE NAVIGATOR will perform as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival - and will open on Friday, June 13 at 7pm and run for ten performances through Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2:30pm at The Actors Company Let Live Theater, 916A N. Formosa Ave. in Hollywood.

Your GPS tells you how to get where you're going, but what if it could tell you more? Dave's fallen on hard times. He's out of work, drowning in debt, and his wife is threatening to leave. Suddenly his car's navigation system starts giving him the answers... to absolutely everything in this funny and possibly prescient new play from Burning Clown Productions.

Burning Clown Productions is an award-winning production company that specializes in developing and realizing new works of film and theatre. Eddie Antar (Writer) is a member playwright of WorkShop Theater Company. His body of work includes twelve full-length plays and multiple one-acts. His play The Navigator was nominated for eight New York Innovative Theater Awards (including Outstanding Productionand Outstanding Original Full-Length Script) and was included in the compilation New Playwrights: Best Plays of 2012 edited by Lawrence Harbison. It also made NY Theatre's Top Ten and Fifth Wall's Top Ten Sci-Fi Plays of 2012.

Leslie Kincaid Burby (Director) cut her directorial teeth doing ambitious experimental theatre in unconventional spaces with the inter-arts company, The Bull Family Orchestra, including being one of the directors of the 29 Questions Project performed near Ground Zero. She's a resident director of The Little Apple Theater Company, a traveling company that tours throughout the Eastern US and NYC bringing professional theater to young people of all economic and social backgrounds. For her direction of The Navigator, she received the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Direction.

The cast of The Navigator will feature Drama Desk nominated 'Outstanding Lead Actor' Joseph Franchini, New York Innovative Theater Award nominee for 'Outstanding Lead Actress' Kelly Anne Burns, NEA performance grant recipient Mike Smith Rivera and Heidi Jo Scheller.

The Navigator will feature set design by Tim Swiss and sound design by Quentin Chiappetta/Media Noise.

The Navigator will open on Friday, June 13 at 7pm and perform on Saturday, June 14 at 11:30pm; Sunday, June 15 at 2:30pm; Thursday, June 19 at 7:30pm; Friday, June 20 at 5:30pm; Sunday, June 22 at 8:30pm; Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00pm; Friday, June 27 at 8:30pm; Saturday June 28 at 2:30pm and Sunday, June 29 at 1pm at The Actors Company Theatre 916A Formosa Ave in Hollywood.
