After Hours Theatre presents Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...Boom! for a special engagement at the Hudson Backstage Theatre in Hollywood on March 25th-27th and April 1st-3rd.

The intimate cast features Shelley Regner (Pitch Perfect, American Idiot LA) as Susan, Harrison Meloeny (bare Los Angeles, Spring Awakening LA) as Michael, and Nick Bredosky (Quarantine, Rent), as Jon. Directed by Rebecca Kenigsberg (Spring Awakening) and music directed by Elmo Zapp (American Idiot LA, Bare LA), Tick, Tick...Boom! will be produced for After Hours Theatre by Graham Wetterhahn (Edges).

Tick, Tick... Boom!, is a one-act, semi-autobiographical musical by the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent- featuring book, music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, script consulting by David Auburn, and vocal arrangements and orchestrations by Stephen Oremus. First performed as a solo rock monologue by Larson in 1990, Tick, Tick...Boom! chronicles the journey of an aspiring composer struggling to balance the pursuit of a dream with the pressures of everyday life on the eve of his thirtieth birthday. After Larson's untimely death in 1996, the show was reimagined by playwright David Auburn as a three-actor piece and premiered off-Broadway on June 13, 2001 at the Jane Street Theatre. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Jonathan Larson's death. Although written in the early 90s, Tick, Tick...Boom! is a show that will resonate with people of all ages who have ever fought to pursue a dream.

Tick, Tick...Boom! will play 6 performances at the Hudson Backstage Theatre in Hollywood (6539 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038). The performances will take place as follows: Friday, March 25th and Saturday March 26th at 8 pm; Sunday, March 27th at 7 pm; Friday, April 1st and Saturday, April 2nd at 8 pm; Sunday, April 3rd at 7 pm.
