Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts will present an upcoming benefit concert to raise funds for Sag Harbor's Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Departments.

The benefit concert is entitled A NIGHT OF THANKS, and will take place at Bay Street Theater on Thursday, January 19 at 7 pm.

Tickets are $50 per person available at the box office at 631-725-9500, online at baystreet.org, and at the door the night of the event if tickets are not sold out. The box office is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 5 pm.

The concert is in honor of all of the courageous work done by the Sag Harbor Fire and Ambulance Departments, as well as all of the police and fire departments that worked diligently on Main Street in Sag Harbor on December 16. Bay Street Theater is donating the theater and staff services, and the musicians are donating their time and musical talents for the concert. All ticket and raffle proceeds will be given to these two worthy departments, made up of volunteers from our community who work to keep all safe throughout the year.

The benefit will be a night of great music, from some of the East End's most well-known artists. The evening begins with Nancy Atlas and the Nancy Atlas Project, followed by the Hoodoo Loungers, and then a set by Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks. In addition to great music, there will be a Special Raffle in the lobby with items and prizes donated from local retailers and restaurants. These proceeds too will go to these worthy first responders.

Benefits by Bay Street is a program of Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts that periodically provides the theater space and staffing to help others in need. Past benefits included events for the typhoon in the Philippines, the earthquake in Haiti, and the tsunami in Japan. Bay Street has raised over $20,000 at these events.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is a year-round, not-for-profit professional theater and community cultural center which endeavors to innovate, educate, and entertain a diverse community through the practice of the performing arts. We serve as a social and cultural gathering place, an educational resource, and a home for a community of artists.
