Graham Fenton, Martin Kaye & Justin Mortelliti Set for BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS, 2/24
Three performers from the Strip's hottest Broadway productions will come together for the first-ever BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS concert on Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 p.m. at Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Featuring Graham Fenton of JERSEY BOYS, Martin Kaye of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and Justin Mortelliti of ROCK OF AGES, BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS will showcase the talents of these individuals and their bands for one-night-only. Tickets begin at $20 and are on sale now. They can be purchased by phone at 702-693-5000 ext. 6914, at the Vinyl box office or online at www.hardrockhotel.com.
Originally conceived by Fenton, who stars as Frankie Valli in the smash-hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the concept behind BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS was to introduce his band, A Million Pieces, to the Las Vegas community. His partnership with other Broadway production performers on the Strip, including Kaye and Mortelliti, serves as a collaborative effort to showcase the talents and passions of each musician and their counterparts off-stage.
"I became a huge fan of Justin and Martin after seeing them perform onstage in ROCK OF AGES and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET," said Fenton. "Once I found out that they both not only rocked onstage, but offstage as well, I knew the three of us had to come together for a concert. Eventually, we would love to create an ongoing BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS concert series, inviting other Las Vegas entertainers to share their original works alongside us."
The evening's lineup will include performances by Fenton and his band A Million Pieces, Mortelliti alongside band members from ROCK OF AGES, and solos by Kaye. The performance will begin at 10 p.m.; doors will open to the public at 9 p.m.
BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS is presented by the "Voice of Vegas," Bart Torres, and 99.7 FM The Highway Vibe. The event will be emceed by Torres and BROADWAY ROCKS VEGAS producer and JERSEY BOYS star, Jeff Leibow. For more information visit www.hardrockhotel.com.
