The ensemble also features Samantha Barboza, Jeff Berger, Ryan Hruza, Ron Lackey, Tom Lancaster, Emma Mae Marsten, Deanna Mazdra, Vincent Monachino, Zachary Parker, Josephine Pellow, Elise Poehling, Julie Shaw, and Bob Wearing.

Nelly Don's story shatters stereotypes and rejects barriers, deploying a colorful cast of historical KC characters that is sure to delight and entertain.

At MTH we honor the heritage of the American musical, it's exciting to work on an original piece and be a small part of this musical's history, especially a play based on such an incredible Kansas City icon," said Tim Scott.
