Kansas City Actors Theatre has completed casting for their production of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None", the opening show of their thirteenth season. The production will be directed by John Rensenhouse and will star Robert Gibby Brand, Greg Butell, Scott Cordes, Kyle Dyck, Bonnie Griffin, Manon Halliburton, Ellen Kirk, Victor Raider-Wexler, Matt Rapport, Matt Schwader, and Peter Zazzali. The production team includes Mark Exline (scenic designer), Kevin Seiss (properties designer), Sarah Oliver (costumer designer), Shane Rowse (lighting designer), Jonathan Robertson (sound designer), and Kyle Dyck (technical director).

"And Then There Were None" is the story of ten strangers summoned to an isolated island when murder ensues. But who is guilty, and who, if anyone is innocent? Christie herself described this as her most difficult mystery to write, and it is considered by many to be her masterpiece. "The book is my favorite of hers and her play version manages to hang on to the rich psychological tension of the book," says Director John Rensenhouse. "The concept of divine justice at the heart of the story is an excellent and intriguing notion to contemplate, dive into, and flesh out."

Kansas City Actors Theatre is also excited to feature company regulars along with newcomers to Kansas City's professional stages, including Matthew Schwader and Peter Zazzali. "It's about half-and-half," says Rensenhouse. "Two of the newcomers are alumnae of the same graduate conservatory training program I attended, and I'm thrilled they have chosen to make Kansas City their home."

Performances will take place at Union Station's H&R Block City Stage. Previews start August 9th, opening night will be August 12th and performances will conclude on August 27th. Audience talk-backs will follow performances on August 13th, August 16th, and August 25th.

Tickets are between $15 and $40 and are available by contacting the Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222 or online at www.kcactors.org.
