BWW Preview: MURDER ON THE ORNAMENT EXPRESS Closes the 10th Season for the Mystery Train Theatre

The Mystery Train Murder Mystery Dinner Theater concludes their tenth season with Murder on the Ornament Express opening November 14, 2014 and running through January 3, 2015. The interactive murder mystery takes place at the Golden Ox restaurant and Californos Westport on selected dates.

Set in 1973, Murder on the Ornament Express takes place when the first Keepsakes go up for sale in Kansas City. 'Tis the season to keep secrets and give surprises . . . but murder? The quest for the newest collectible ornament may become a deadly obsession for someone on the train! Murder on the Ornament Express stars Nikki Susco-Taylor, Stephanie Charlton, and Trevor Tournear.

Patrons should arrive by 6:15 p.m. to be seated and the show begins with appetizers and cocktails at 6:30 p.m. The show begins at 7 p.m. with the dinner salad served at the end of Act 1. The main course and Act II follows, with Dessert and Act III shortly after. Act IV the solution rounds up the evening with awards and curtain calls.

The Golden Ox features a choice entrée of Charbroiled Bacon-wrapped Filet (served medium), Teriyaki Grilled Chicken Breast, or Baked Mahi Mahi in a Light Lemon Cream Sauce. Californos Westport offers an entree choice of Grilled Sirloin Steak (served medium), Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, or Salmon Filet with a Sesame Soy Vinaigrette. The cost is $59 per person on Thursdays and $69 on Friday and Saturday. The cost includes dinner, show, and gratuity with a cash bar available.
