Art Benefits, Inc., a local nonprofit organization, presents Hope-Courage-Love, a charity art show featuring the original work of four professional artists. Exhibiting their work for the show are Eric Geiger, Rashid Lane, Marlo Saucedo and John Whaley, Jr. Proceeds from ticket sales and the sale of auctioned artwork will benefit the Snowdrop Foundation, which provides scholarships for college-bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors.

Hope-Courage-Love is set for Friday, Nov. 4 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at ShareSpace near downtown, 2201 Preston Street. Guests can mix and mingle with the artists and enjoy wine and light bites, in addition to meeting mentor artist and sculptor, Navid Ghedami and Hal Kantner, AIA, of HOK Architects and author of "Modern Cave Painting." Kantner's art will be featured in a retrospective. Additionally, music is part of the evening with a father-son band called "Scratch Vocals."

"This is the ideal opportunity to purchase original art from some gifted up and coming artists, while benefiting a worthwhile charity," says Ann Gladstone, Art Benefits, Inc. board member and event organizer. "It should be a magical evening at ShareSpace with many arts aficionados in attendance and 93Q morning show host Kevin Kline serving as our auctioneer."

"Included in the auction will be three pieces of art that the four artists collaborated on, which is a truly unique aspect of the show," Gladstone continues. "Our four featured artists will keep 100 percent from the sale of their individual artwork."

Tickets for Hope-Courage-Love can be obtained for a donation of $25 at artbenefitsinc.org or for $40 on Eventbrite, with proceeds going toward the Snowdrop Foundation. If possible, please purchase tickets in advance, although you can buy tickets at the door for $40.
