The Off Broadway Palm Theatre presents Better Late playing now through November 1, 2014. This funny, yet touching, comedy is written by Larry Gelbart. Gelbart's other credits include the TV comedy M*A*S*H*, the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and the film Tootsie.

Better Late features Julian, his ex-wife Nora and her new husband Lee. Julian is forced to move in with Nora and Lee due to illness and as the days pass, the uncomfortable situation continues to spiral out of control. The laughter builds and the question everyone has is: how long will Julian have to stay? The Chicago Tribune says, "Better Late is a part damn-it-all, Mel Brooks-like feast of sardonic one-liners, denial, and part a sad and caustic plea for marital compassion that could have been penned by an octogenarian Woody Allen, guiltily regretting one of his failed relationships."

Portraying ex-husband Julian is John W. Noble, who is making his debut at Broadway Palm. Nora is being played by local actress Nancy Antonio, whose previous credits in The Off Broadway Palm include Bill W. and Dr. Bob, Flamingo Court, Squabbles, and Nana's Naughty Knickers. Nora's current husband, Lee, is being played by Robert Summers, whose made numerous appearances in productions in The Off Broadway Palm and on Broadway Palm's main stage. Also part of the cast is John Keckeisen, who played the lead in this summer's hit Boeing, Boeing. Directing Better Late is The Off Broadway Palm Theatre Artistic Director, Paul Bernier.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre is an intimate 100-seat theatre, located in the main lobby of Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. With no seat further than 25 feet away from the stage, you become part of the show.
