Women's Action Network to Feature Musical Guests During Danish Festival

Women's Action Network (WAN) will host the WAN MarketPlace & Food Court for the 52nd annual Danish Festival from August 19th to the 21st. Located in Veterans Park in Greenville, the WAN MarketPlace & Food Court will feature merchants, and food vendors as well as a variety of musical entertainment.

Area musicians will perform in the music tent throughout the weekend. A West Michigan favorite, The Hit Man, will return for his fifth WAN MarketPlace appearance. Leonard Cradit, The Hit Man performer said, "I am honored to have been able to provide entertainment now 5 years running. It is definitely an honor and privilege for me." The Hit Man is a favorite because of his musical assortment of country and soft rock.

Located in Veterans Park on W. Washington St. in Greenville the WAN MarketPlace & Food Court boast a variety of acts including the Ionia Community Band, James McKay's Elvis Tribute, Tenderfoot and DJ Richard Miller to name just a few. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. Sunday Revelation plays from noon to 4:00 p.m.

The WAN MarketPlace & Food Court is WAN's largest fundraiser with proceeds going to support women in the community. WAN provides educational programs such as human trafficking awareness, scholarships for women continuing their education, and community service through The Hat Rack and other organizations that support women in the community.
