Olympia Entertainment announces the return of Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band to Comerica Park on Saturday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m., as part of Jimmy Buffett's "Songs from St. Somewhere Tour 2013" with special guest Jackson Browne and His Band. Doors open at 6 p.m. Last July marked Michigan's largest single-night Buffett concert in history with a sold out crowd at Comerica Park.

Tickets go on sale at Tickets.com on Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. and can also be purchased at the Comerica Park Box Office. To charge tickets by phone, call 866-66-TIGER. For additional information, call Olympia Entertainment at (313) 471-6611.

Once again, Jimmy Buffett fans will be invited to soak-in the full Margaritaville experience with the return of the FREE downtown beach party for all to enjoy. Starting at noon, the day-long festivities will be located at the corner of Woodward and Montcalm on the north side of Comerica Park and feature a LandShark Lounge, a variety of island-inspired interactive games, tiki bars with frozen concoctions, live entertainment and much, much more.

"Jimmy Buffett's return to Comerica Park is an absolute highlight for Detroit's summer concert roster," said Tom Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Olympia Entertainment. "We're ecstatic to welcome back Jimmy for another incredible evening under the open-air stadium stars along with Jackson Browne and to again transform downtown into the ultimate day-long paradise celebration for Detroit's devoted Parrotheads."

This concert marks Buffett's second ever show in Detroit's city limits. Buffett's iconic performances are notably regarded as not just a concert, but a state of mind that allows Parrotheads to experience the sights, sounds and taste of their favorite island destination without leaving town.

Buffett will be going back into the studio to record a new album, tentatively titled Songs from St. Somewhere, to be released on Mailboat Records. Last summer Buffett released a new CD/DVD on Mailboat Records called Welcome to Fin City, which was recorded at two Las Vegas concerts. Both the CD/DVD and the Blue-Ray/CD contain 14 songs and 15 videos which includes the previously unreleased bonus video of "Elvis Presley Blues." Also now available on iTunes is a live video of Jimmy Buffett and Lionel Richie singing the hit "All Night Long" which was recorded last year at Comerica Park.
Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music, to include "Doctor My Eyes," Running on Empty" and "Somebody's Baby," and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2007. Beyond his music, he is known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education.
