Soapbox Derby is an improvised show featuring local musicians, comedians and community leaders. Each week's special guest presents stories, comic routines, or songs which the Go Comedy! cast uses to create on-the-spot scenes. Past Soapbox Derby guests have included Ferndale Mayor Craig Covey, WDET radio host Craig Fahle, Between The Lines publisher Jan Stevenson, and 97.1 FM The Ticket's Terry Foster.This week's guest, Ed Nahhat, is a Macomb County attorney and the founder and Executive Producer of Water Works Theatre Company which produces the annual Shakespaere In The Park in Royal Oak, now in its ninth year and currently in rehearsals for Macbeth opening July 23 in Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak.Sunday nights at Go Comedy! continue at 9:00pm with Rock-o-Matic, the fully improvised rock opera that takes the Go Comedy! stage by storm every Sunday night.
