Basement Arts is proud to present the 2017 Winter Season!

The 2017 Winter Season begins with Ruby Rae Spiegel's Dry Land  directed by Delaney Moro and presented February 22-24.  Auditions will be held January 26th.  Email basement.communications@umich.edu for more information about auditions for this and the other productions.

March 9-11 continues Basement Arts' commitment to developing new works with Eric Grant's Paris at Dawn directed by Abby Buchmeyer.  This is the official premier of Paris at Dawn, a story of acceptance and coexistence centered around the historic vote on same-sex marriage by the French Senate.

March 16-18 Basement Arts is proud to present Trevor by Nick Jones and directed by Justin Choi.  At the center of this hilarious and heart-wrenching play are a world-famous chimpanzee and his owner Sandra and the struggles that they face together as Trevor the chimpanzee is forced to adjust from superstardom to everyday life.

April 6-8 is Lily Houghton's Dear directed by Elle Smith.  Taking place in the communal bathroom of a college dorm, Dear features four college-aged women who question the everyday brutalities of 21st-century womanhood.

All performances are free to the public and take place in Studio One (room 1415 of the Walgreen Drama Center). Directions to the Walgreen Drama Center can be found here.
