With the wonder and glory of the Holiday Season right around the corner, celebrate it with some of the nation's best performers and local homegrown favorites at the PACE Center in Parker.

Ray Benson and nine-time Grammy© winners Asleep at the Wheel kick off the season, honky-tonk holiday style, on Friday, November 27. These Texas legends serve up two concerts that day, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. They'll perform their holiday favorites and originals such as "Christmas in Jail," "Santa Loves to Boogie," and a "Swingin' Silent Night" in their iconic western swing band style, all while wishing you a Merry Texas Christmas Y'all.

Next up, on Saturday November 28 at 7:30 p.m., is the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra (CJRO), who'll be swinging into the holiday season with its 16-piece big band. From performing holiday tunes such as Duke Ellington's "Nutcracker Suite" to Heidi Schmidt's lovely vocals, the CJRO will be jazzing up the jingle bells with its Big Band Christmas sound.

The Parker Chorale and the Parker Symphony Orchestra are perennial favorites at the PACE Center, and will treat its audience to an evening of traditional carols, familiar songs, and a few surprises in A Classic Parker Holiday. The Chorale is an adult community choral group dedicated to fostering the arts and supporting music education in the Town of Parker and Douglas County. Similarly, the Parker Symphony Orchestra is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to perform orchestra music that educates, entertains and inspires the people of Parker and the surrounding communities. These home town groups come together for an evening of holiday cheer, celebrated through the joy of music. You'll have three performances to choose from: Friday and Saturday December 4th and 5th at 7:30 p.m., and a Sunday, December 6th Matinee at 2:00 p.m.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas with 10-time Grammy© winning vocal quartet The Manhattan Transfer, who has enchanted audiences for over 40 years with their eclectic styles of music from classic American standards, to pop and jazz. These vocal virtuosos bring you their special harmonies of the holiday season on Saturday December 12, at 7:30 p.m.

The Colorado School of Dance, Douglas County's premier dance school, wraps up the holiday season with their 12th Anniversary Production of Tchaikovsky's holiday classic, The Nutcracker of Parker. Witness Clara's journey when the old clock strikes midnight and she finds at a little wooden nutcracker from her godfather, Drosselmeyer, brings an evening of wonder and whimsy alive beyond her wildest dreams. Showtimes include December 17-18 at 7:00 p.m and Saturday and Sunday December 19 and 20 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.

"The holiday season is a special time at the PACE Center because it brings us closer to our Parker families," says Elaine Mariner, PACE Center Director. "We see generations of families coming back to the Center to celebrate the season and for this reason, we try to offer a varied combination of musical masters who will grace our stage. Families leave those performances with their hearts full of the joy and wonder as they celebrate this special time of year."

Ticket prices range for each show, and can be purchased by calling 303.805.6800, or by going online to www.ParkerArts.org.
