RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL

Rudolph soars back onto the Bass Hall stage in a brand-new production of this live-action musical, which is based on the timeless stop-motion TV show. New to the show this year will be enhanced flying elements and set and scenic designs. Now on a national tour, the show has been called a "holiday staple" by The Boston Globe and an "utterly charming, top-notch production" by Orlando Sentinel.

Brickman's special guests include 2008 American Idol winner Kris Allen, singer Anne Cochran, Broadway vocalist John Trones and electric violinist Tracy Silverman.

The University of North Texas' acclaimed One O'Clock Lab Bandreturns to the fireplace-cozy confines of McDavid Studio to deliver a jazzy, big band holiday show. Along with their reinterpretations of Christmas standards, the One O'Clock will delve into works from the Kenton Christmas Stan Kenton book, selections from Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite and Maynard Ferguson's A Christmas for Moderns.
